A new edition of one of the most prestigious and important photography festivals in the country is underway! The 26th PhotoEspaña International Festival of Photography and Visual Arts, of which Fujifilm is a sponsor, recently kicked off in Madrid and will be open until 3 September.

Promoted by the Fundación Contemporánea and organised by La Fábrica, PhotoEspaña makes Madrid and Spain a meeting point for the world of photography every year.

Jorge López Muñoz, winner of the last edition of Descubrimientos PHE, focuses his gaze on the Valencian neighbourhood of El Clot – in the process of disappearing and of which only a block of buildings remains standing -, photographing its architectural landscape and the people who live there, mostly Roma families, through images that reflect the pride, strength and vitality, but also the vulnerability, of this community.

The photographs in this exhibition were printed in the Movol Color photo lab on Fujifilm Original Photographic Paper.
This exhibition was open to the public until 16 July at La Indomable (Calle de los Tres Peces, 34, Madrid).
